Spec is as below;
MSI KN9GM2 Board
AMD X2 5000+ Black Edition 2.2Ghz ( Unlocked Multiplier; Stock @ 13 )
2GB DDR2 800Mhz GeiL Low Latency RAM ( 2 X 1GB )
BFG OC 512 8800GT
OCZ StealthXStream 600W PSU - SLi Ready
Zalman CNPS9500 CPU Cooler
160GB HDD
My temperatures @ idle ( retrieved via nTune ) are as follows;
8800GT : 45 degrees @ 45% Fan Speed
CPU: 27 degrees
System: 28 degrees
With my old ASUS M2V board i was able to simply increase the multiplier to 15x via bios, but unfortunately don't have those OC options in my current bios.
Is there any way i can change the multiplier upto 15x to reach 3Ghz easily, and in a way that is reversible should the need occur?
NB. I don't chase benchmarks and for that reason only want to reach 3Ghz, although i'm sure more is possible.
