Looking for the cheapest way to have a pc for the tv, mainly for skygo and netflix, no need for a big hdd as it would share files on the network. Can this be done for £100?
I bought Intel compute stick 7 months ago with 32GB eMMC and 2GB RAM same spec as product on OCUK, it also use the same CPU and spec as my Linx 10 tablet.
I installed Windows 10 insider build on stick last month and now used RTM build, been watched movies on Chrome with Netflix extension and there was no issues.
Fantastic same performance as as my Linx 10 tablet.
If you buy 32GB stick then you will have free Windows 10 upgrade.
Yes that would work. I've done a quick search and apparently it doesn't have a HDMI port so you would have to use the VGA or DP port or DP to HDMI adapter.
Windows 10 arm or whatever its called will run on the Pi2. Would be the 'cheapest' option all in all. You could look into getting XBMC to save on the Windows licence. Stream all day long
