Problem is fleet purchase (he needs 8). Most Japanese and South Korean brands of micro / kei trucks pulled out of the UK market several years ago because the likes of Ford and Vauxhall offered stuff like the Fiesta / Focus (and later Courier and Connect) and Corsa / Astra (and later Combo) vans.
Looking around, the only Asian company that seems to provide fleet offerings for micro trucks in the UK is DFSK. And according to their website blurb, they only got into the UK in 2011.

Chinese company. Vehicles probably fold like an accordion if you were to hit anything. They cost peanuts though. And AutoExpress gave them 3 and a half stars.
