Small problem with Lian Li V650 Case

Having spent a long time carefully fitting lots of bits into this new case, but then I found a problem with the last one. The PSU does not fit!

It looks like one of the mounting rails has been fitted the wrong way round, so there is a piece of metal (that should support the outside of the PSU) blocking the opening, so the PSU will not slide in.

Any ideas if this can be solved?

As far as I can see it is permanently fixed (possibly riveted) but it would be good if someone knows how to remove and rotate it

I think you're right, found a photo here that suggests yours has been put together wrong;

If it is indeed riveted then nothing you can do other than return it really.

Is returning it an option?

Yes, it should be an option. I have only had it a couple of weeks and all I have done is attached the MB, disks etc and swapped the fans. All that can be undone. It would just be a pain

Nice picture. I can now see how it is fixed. (On mine it is obscured by the metal side. A torch and mirror did not give a good enough view.) Doesn't look like it can be pulled out and reversed.

Just looks like a manufacturing/build fault for sure in that case. It will be worth the hassle of returning it as if you tried sorting it yourself and made a mess of it you'd be stuck with it. Shame but these things happen.

Drill the rivets put and then re-rivet it back in.

Will literally take 5 mins to do and is easy as hell....
