I've just set up Sky Broadband for a friend, his computers a wreck to say the least and unfortunatly reinstalling it isn't an option since he's lost his copy of windows.
The problem is stupid really, when the computer loads the router doesnt give it an IP address and you get the yellow triangle, so I disable to network card and re-enable it then everything works fine.
It's using the supplied Macafee Internet Security which is upgraded to the latest version off the website and the network is set as trusted.
anyone have any ideas what might cause a problem like this?
