Hello guys. Just a small question. If I switch the pc power off at the wall and leave it for a few hours (work) come home and try to start the pc it goes to start then cuts off. It will finally go on but after about 10 restarts. If I just shut the pc down and leave it with the power connected it switches on first time. Could this be a cmos battery causing this?

Thanks Dave

Could it be a CMOS battery causing this

Could be. Change it and see.

When the Pc does finally start does it remember your settings, such as overclock, boot drive priority etc?
