Small system for my sister, what do i need.

Im looking to buy this for my sister -

And it looks all good to me, but just to make sure, what extra parts do i need to make it ready to go ? Is it -

Proccesor
Memory
Hard Drive

Thats all i can think of, is that all ? Reason being is ive got all the spare parts ready for it.

Also, it says something about a proccesor cooling system, does that mean i dont use the normal heatsink/fan that came with the proccesor ?

Your correct in thinking you will need the CPU, Memory and HD. You will also need a CD/DVD Drive.

The case comes with its own cooling system, so yes no heatsink will be needed as it has its own.

Do you know if need any thermal paste for the cpu, or is it supplied/taken care of ?

Well ive received it and it was hella easy to setup and all works great

But, im using my hard drive from a previous computer so it needs formatting. Problem is, the computer only has USB slots, no PS/2 connectors, and it wont recognise the input from my USB keyboard when i need it to boot from the disc. Any idea what i can do ?

Some usb keyboards are never recognised (support in bios enabled or not) you may have to try another one (my Dell is great, my logitech multimedia never works until windows has loaded).

Also try differnt usb ports some systems disable goups of usb connectors be default

I always get the same problem with my usb keyboard. I always have to get an old keyboard out of the loft when I want to reformat. My keyboard doesnt pickup until I'm in windows.
