Ive redone my PC and for some reason it partitioned windows onto a 2 gb partition, now ive been intalling everything I can on the other partition but it causeing serious problems with norton and other progras that use the same partition as windows like my video card drivers that wont go on, is there anyway to increase partition? Cant seem to in the built in windows computer management. Its driving me mad or do I have to reformat?

I reinstalled using xp service pack 2 6 boot floppy disks and disk. It comes up with a blue screen to ask about reinatlling and formattting, and very hard to get it to do what you want, anyone know whats the best way to use this?

I have a 320gb sata and a 500gb sata drives

Cheers

bin the floppy discs, just boot from the cd

easiest to start again

also don't use norton, it's really crap, if you want to pay for av (can be worth it) then get nod32 or kaspersky (you can get 30 day trials of both of them), or use avast! which is free

Have a look for one of the ultimate boot disks that include a partition resizer.

Install windows and simply resize the partition afterwards.

Hodders how do I resize after install? What program do I use? The built in one in windows? If so how, as I cant work it out. I cant seem to get it too boot from disk even changing in BIOS and F8 before booting neither work. Always find it best to use floppies (it works I know its long winded, but I dont care as long as it works) one day im sure il get the hang of it.lol
