was just looking through the Top 10 broadband providers on ISPreview site, never heard of any of them, is it safe to go woth them ?

I was thinking of trying AAISP - Andrews and Arnold Ltd

Many of those in that top 10 are well known and respected providers. You usually get better customer support, but you pay for it.

Unless you have special requirements PlusNet are worth considering. I wouldn't let their relatively low placing in that chart put you off too much.

AAISP have a good rep but are business orientated so you pay those kind of prices but get the kind of support that comes with that.

I loved A&A's response to the ISP filtering being demanded by the Government

Active choice: It is part of the terms and made clear at sign up that you are opting out of all filtering in the network, including any government mandated or requested filtering. You have an active choice on this - you can choose to take unfiltered service from us or not to take service from us.
