Smallest Mini-ITX case

What you trying to get in it? If you search for thin client M-ITX cases you can find ones far smaller, intel even bought out a motherboard that has a 1/2 height I/O plate which fits into a few cases that are no more than a few mm's wider than the motherboard and thinner than a normal back plate.

Jetway JC200 are small or the M350 is very compact. They are much smaller than any listed above, but very limited to what you can fit in.

Well might be going to uni soon, but since it is far away from home I want something small that I can carry in a suitcase when I go home twice a year.

Don't really like laptops, unless its the macbook pro, but thats too expensive.

I looked at the mac mini and thought I want to build something as small as that, obviously not the newer mac mini because that isn't possible, but the older ones like this

Will be used for general browsing, watching movies and possibly some audio related work.

You need to take a look at something like Kontron pITX-SP or Commell LP-170 - Atom won't play HD video amazing, but you'll like the size :) - well aware the prices probably make this a VERY bad choice ...

I think the wesena ITX 2 is the best compromise then, because It will be able to take a proper processor (i5 2500t) and also a DVD/bluray drive.

Will start building it around august, so plenty of time to look around.

Thanks for the help :)

I'll join the quest for SMALL ITX case... my "mobo" is actually 17x8cm (half ITX) as its a retro FPGA board. No need a big case but it does have to have full height backplane as there needs to be space height-wise for a 68060 daughter board.

Sounds nice, what's the specs and model of the board? And what case do you have it in?
