smallest netbook??

hi guys

well the only reason i can see for getting a netbook is its so small i can take it almost everywhere so what is the smallest netbook (form not screen size) i have seen the acer one and love it but i am thinking its just not that small so recommend me something good

I think the original EEE 701 was pretty small, certainly looks smaller than the acer one.

EEEPC 901... 8.9" but with same specs as the larger 10" netbooks.

I own an Acer One and to be honest, I much prefer that to any of the EEE (or larger screens) as it's just right for me, in terms of portability and size of keyboard to type without feeling it's cramp and stupid.

With the 6 Cell battery, my Acer one last just under 6 hours too, which is a plus. (I got lucky and got mine about 100quid cheaper than the NC10; Atom 1.6, 1GB, 160GB, XP, 6 Cell Battery) Look around second hand if money is of matter.

The only down size I had with the Acer One is the mouse buttons, but after a couple hours of use, I'm used to it - so it's not that big of an issue if you learn fast.

Anything smaller than the Samsung NC10 isnt worth it, the screen would just be too small.

I have a mini 9 and I'd say it's fairly small, well to me it is. Dimensions : 232 x 172.

Anyone use one of these mini-lappies as a Media player/Carputer??.. I'm looking to put a Carputer in my car but I don't want to rip the guts out and build one!.. summut Small and ready to rumble would be great!!...

not sure how your going to connect the 'netbook' to the car speakers :rolleyes:

Have your car setup with a 3.5mm input and just plug it into your netbook?

The Same way anyone using a Laptop as a Carputer does it!!... There are ways!!
