Wondering whats the smallest PSU people have used with a 6800GT (AGP). I can get a 6800GT 2nd hand a lot cheaper than a 6800GS and don't really want to spend anymore on this ATX/AGP system than I have to. My 9700Pro just died (sniff). I don't have the budget to move to PCI-E yet.

Well I ran an OCed 6800NU with quite a bit of other stuff on a £10 500w for a little while, probably about 250w real power.

What do you have now? Any decent 350w should be fine as long as you dont have 4 HDs, 3 optical drives etc. Although I would reccomend getting a decent one, seen a 350w Enermax for £29.

No idea its in a Dell 4600. I did run a 9800pro and x800pro in it previously with no problems. All it has in it is a DVDRW and 2xHD (80 and 250). Though I may switch both HD for a single bigger and quieter one. In my experience the Dell PSU's punch well above their weight. The one in the 4600 is a standard ATX so I can always swap it out if theres a problem.

wont be a problem in a dell 4600 - they use pretty good psu's, ive had a x800xt on a dell 4600 in the past.
