Smart FTP

Is no longer free. Its a $40 or $50 purchase now. The current builds expire in 14 days. They only offer an evaluation for 14 days now. Can anyone recommend an almost identical one? I dont like CuteFTP at all.

I'll second that just get FileZilla, It's free and easy to use.

Because its expired and I cannot run it. Otherwise I would continue to use it.

I'm using Smart FTP 3.0 and I have no expiry messages or anything

Definately Filezilla....it's free, open source, has a small resource footprint, and just rocks in general!

Did you even look at the website? It's still exactly what it was; 30 day trialwear that doesn't expire, just bugs you about buying it after 30 days.

FlashFXP is hands down the best FTP client.

Have a look in the FTP Clients/Servers section, for different (free) FTP utilities....

SmartFTP's OK, but I really prefer FTPRush. It's not free but it IS the best client I've ever used.
