never had the version with smart features but had a couple of the ones with extra screen in them, always found them a tad inconvenient , as they sometimes come loose and rattle also didnt have auto dim that normal car mirror had.
but at the time was only way to add nav screen or reverse camera to vehicles so hey ho.
 
terrible idea you can't triangulate the distance of cars behind, and if like me use varifocals will be able to see bugger all since top of lense is far focus.(e: ie. distance vision)
seems like one of the achilles heels on the renault e-tech.

Camera mirrors have been tried and it doesn't really work. You can't judge distance though a camera.

Also way to bulky and one day it will just stop working, because Chinese tat.
