Smart plug controlled via homeplug

I'd like to be able to turn the heater on in the garden room over the internet. Unfortunately the wifi doesn't reach down there, so is it possible to have a homeplug or lan controlled socket ?

You could extend the wifi using Powerline (HomePlug) adapters. You should then be able to control your socket.

LightwaveRF may work where WiFi doesnt. Black Friday is probably a good time to get one and test it. You can always return it if it doesn't.

I’d just use an extender myself, or an AP.

I’d recommend Ubiquiti.
