Smart plug for server to diagnose problem

My server is rebooting randomly. It can be days or even over a month between reboots. The logs are completely clean. This leads me to believe the problem is either hardware (motherboard or PSU) or the power supply to the server.

Are there smart plugs out there that are accurate enough, with logging, to tell if the power draw from the wall has any wild, but brief, fluctuations?

You'll see power, current and volts logged. I can't imagine it'll be of massive use though, you'll probably just see a sudden drop when it reboots which isn't really going to tell you much.

Are they not accurate enough to tell which side drops first? The wall socket or the PSU?

Yep, UPS time.

When you say 'clean' logs though, I'd expect stuff about unexpected shutdowns / power loss.
Sure it's not something unhelpfully deciding to reboot for updates?

smart plug - 4 way extention - plug server in / plug lamp / laptop in.
if sever reboots and the lamp stays on drawing current it will still show through put.
if laptop conencted it will show switching to battery.

from a diagnostic point. its ok but not fullproof.
tbh if it was the supply i'd expect other things in the house/location to go out at the same time like the cooker timer or something.
ups never hurts but might wake you up at 3am with beeing when power goes out or the batteries are end of life.
not exactly the lightest things.

What OS are you running.
By "completely clean", are you saying the logs are not even showing the server has restarted?
