Hi guys,

I have decided to give up my monstrous water cooled gaming rig in favour of some more piratical and compact. I have sold all my watercooling stuff and am now left with my HAF-X which i am planing to sell. I plan to keep the other components, 2500K, GTX670, SSD's.

I am quite attracted to the Mini form factor, particularly the Bit Fenix Prodigy. However wouldnt mind a case with 2 5' bays for a DVD drive and fan controller. Can you recommend other cases?

Next for the motherboard. I was looking at the Gigabyte range however am concerned if i can use my Windforce 670 and dedicated PCIE sound car together as the spacing looks quite tight and the GTX cooler looks lik it would cover the PCIE slot.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Have a look at the SG05/06, they just fit your 670 in, its mini itx so you will have to make do with on-board sound as there's only one pcie slot. no room for a fan controller but you wont need one.

Very tempted to go down the Bit Fenix prodigy route. Only thing thats concerning me is probably having to part with my soundcard. I have always been a fan of dedicated sound cards, especially as its going to a expensive set of SP2500 speakers! Any solutions?

Will my current Titan Fenrir cooler fit ok in the case?

Silverstone TJ08-E case and mATX motherboard.
The case is only a little bigger than the horrific Prodigy.

Extremely good cable management and fantastic cooling potential!

If you have the money get the Maximus V Gene-Z motherboard, superb board to partner with this case.

This way you get to keep your sound card, the Gene-Z and TJO8-E is a superb foundation for an overclocked gaming build.

Definately going to get the Prodigy and twin it with the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe and do without the dedicated soundcard. Will my Titan Fenrir and Windforce GTX670 fit ok?
