Smartthings, Bixby and Samsung connect

Looks like Bixby is going to compete with Alexa and google home? This would work much better for me than getting a google home / alexa as I always have my phone on me.

I'll just use my S8 and smartthings

Can't you do all that with the Alexa app? And SmartThings already?

I just checked, you can. I have a 1x1 widget on my home screen that I push once, tell it to turn off the bedroom light and it does.

I was referring to voice control - push button has been around for ages, but we can't integrate google assistant sadly...

anyway - update since, bixby has been delayed to summer so probably dead on arrival.
