Found I can get the Watch 5 Pro for £144 new from Samsung, wondering if it's worth getting for that over the 6 Classic?

How are you finding it these days? Struggling to decide between the epix and fenix lines myself. Does the battery still give you a around 16-19 days after using it for a while or did it drop down a bit? Is that with or without AOD?

As someone with a lot of experience with Samsung Galaxy smart watches (the last one was the Galaxy Watch 4, prior to that, I had a Tizen version), I just don't understand the point of the Ultra?
At that price point, you're better off buying a decent Garmin watch if you're seriously into activity tracking.
There's so many amazing things my recent Garmin purchase can do that wasn't possible on the GW4 or the Samsung platform. For example, on the watch I can enter a distance and direction I want to go in and it'll find me a round route. Or I can log onto Garmin connect on the web and draw a route, which will sync with the watch and I can follow that.
I know with the Watch 5 Pro you could follow a map, and there's also WearOS apps that do similar e.g. Ghost Runner but they were so complicated. I had to draw a route on Komoot, export the GPX, painfully transfer that GPX file to the watch.

the ring was the only device I had interest in as I do not wear a watch too sleep so handy to track vital

I've ordered an Ultra, it was about £345 after trade in of a 5 pro, 10% app discount and a voucher I received as compensation during the launch of the S24. I'm going to keep my watch 6 classic just in case I don't get on with the Ultra.

I was interested in it, but only if it did vibration alerts as I no longer wear a smart watch daily and my phone is always on silent, resulting in a lot of missed calls and messages.

I was interested by the ring but US sizes (5-13) are just too small and the 13 looks stupid on my pinky finger so I'm passing. The rings are for people with small hands/fingers.
You don't need to setup 4G I haven't on mine, you can use it just like a regular BT Wi-Fi version smartwatch.

I would quite like a Galaxy Watch Ultra but am currently rocking a Garmin Epyx 2 Pro Saphire, it's a great watch but the best bit is I only have to charge it every 2 weeks!! still don't understand why the samsung or apple can't match this.

yeah it is large, the Garmin is massive also, 51mm i think, but I am totally used to it now!!
