fast paced arcade massive fun beat em up shear brilliance
Very fast multiplatform (as in varied height arenas with obstacles) fighter with deceptivly simple controls and mechanics leading to very complicated gameplay at the higher levels. Buy Smash bros melee, it's far and away the best gamecube game.

That'll give you an idea of what it's all about... but watching it being played is kinda deceptive as it's so much fun playing it yet the vid doesn't really look anything special. Trust me, though, it's easily one of the best Gamecube games ever made.

Brilliant game with a lot of replayability IMO
Well that was SSBM (the gamecube one) but I assume that the new one will be just as good if not better.
