My son's Wii ate his Melee disk when he dragged the Wii off his shelf while playing. Thats the trouble with the Game cube controller, you forget your are wired!

Unfortunately yes. I've just put it out of my mind for the past few months and thankfully MGS4/Rock Band and GTA4 have kept me going. Ninty really need to get their butts in gear to get games out over here in a reasonable amount of time.

Not pre-ordered this so going to be trawling the High Street to try and find a copy. Not sure what price they'll be charging compared to online places... hopefully the games I've got to trade in will lessen the blow a bit.

I've so far escaped such damage, as I usually use the Wavebird. I have, however, had a toughened glass shelf land on my vertical Wii when polishing
