Got a feeling that i snaged my long cat5 cable between my pc and BeBox 30mins ago (other pc can surf fine, wii too).
We have not got a spare long cat5, so i tried to use my old SMC5403DS-KIT as a "juction box" to link up 2 smaller cat5s... But no joy
Not even sure this should be possible, "hub/switch" techno babble is lost on me! Never done internet access via more than 1 device
Given my online racing, i forsee a visit to "purple puter place" for a quick fix monster cable (at prolly stinging price)!
I really ought to try repairing this now broken cable, or the newer 20m cable that my old employers snagged, but i don't really want to spend half my day off learning how to re-wire cat5 from scratch!
