i had finally had enough of the antec tri cool fans that came with my case and decided to replace them any who once i had connected them all up i booted my machine up to be greeted by a fog of smoke. quickly cutting the power i had discovered that the cable going to the fan had melted! how this happened i dont know. i have a decent modular power supply so i ruled that out. i got the fan working in the end by replacing the cable anyone any idea?
