I like 1 & 2, 3 & 4 aren't as well structured? I've always wanted to have a got at this as well, but have never got round to it. Nice one

1 & 2 work better then 3 & 4 for me. Seems to be a lot of artefacting on the 1st 2 though.

Love the first one, it looks like the top of a double bass, could make a cool composite..

There's a good guide on the TP forums (not sure if we're allowed link) have a look under "Tutorials and Reviews > Tutorials and Guides" and the thread I used was "My tutorial to my smoke art images." by Wingnut.
Managed to get this following it. I don't have an off camera flash, so I just used a little torch to light the smoke up.

On a similiar note on guides etc, I like the thread on POTN which basically captures peoples' setups before they capture such abstract captures.
