Smoking while driving?

No just ban cars with knackered catalytic converters, I hate being stuck behind one of those.

And I agree the smoking ban is a joke. I'm quite badly allergic to cigarette fumes and pre-ban I could just avoid pubs and restaurants that didn't have a well implemented segregated smoking section. Now I can't even enter a bloody building (or down certain streets) without having to walk through a crowd of cigarette fumes because all the smokers have been forced outside to huddle by the door in the cold, same problem at motorway services because you can't smoke in company cars anymore. It was much better how it was.

For those oh so common people with smoke allergies :p

Before he decided to pack up smoking my old man used to roll his roll ups whilst driving. As a kid I thought this was beyond legendary :D

Anyway the main reason not to smoke and drive is so you don't end up with a car that stinks.

Even if you don't have allergies it must still have been easier to avoid the smoke beforehand??

I reckon it should be! If you drive behind a car with a smoker, you can smell it

This really annoys me. On my walk to work there are so many smokers and it just smells disgusting. Roll on the day when smoking in public is completely banned.

That aside, when i worked in Germany, i had a guy I picked up from the airport; he through a lit butt out of the car and the people in their cars went ballistic!!!!!..........horns going, shouting etc.
Now they know how to deal with it...
YAY

I occasionaly smoke in the car, altough only when booting it down narrow country lanes and doing 90+ on the motorway.

Altough if your in a multi story car park, are you allowed to smoke in your car? As the car park is a enclosed public place, but your car isn't.
