Smooth mouse option question

GPU is 980GTX

Without this option on playing COD games MW3 and Ghosts, there's a significant amount of stutter when moving the mouse. (VSYNC on) Cant bear to look at a screen without vsync on..

anyway, turning it on, seems to fix...

Why is that ? Why is it off by default ?

And most importantly, if i drop lots of dosh on a g-sync monitor, does it fix this kind of stutter ?

First question has to be why are you playing the worst cod games?

Mouse smoothing is the interpolation of mouse movements so that it is no longer 1 to 1 plus it adds lag as it waits for multiple movements before merging them into 1 smoother movement. All around a bad idea.

You might be stuttering because the mouse isn't tracking correctly. Check for dirt in the sensor.
