Smooth V-sync with SLI G-sync

I seem to get less input lag if I use Smooth V-sync with G-sync and SLI?

Should this make a difference or am I going mad?

Gsync removes the input lag you get from vsync.

Yes, but it seems even less when I put it in Smooth V-sync in SLI with G-sync on
