If you're making the point I think you're making then you are Infact incorrect since banana and strawberry smoothies normally always include another load of fruit juices etc rather than just strawberries and banana.

I've been making a load of peach smoothies recently using tinned fruit left in the fridge overnight before blending. Tinned fruit tends to come in syrup which seems to make the mixture a bit more drinkable.
