Couldn't find a thread about this so I thought I would share it here.

So what is it?
SVP allows you to watch any video on your PC using frame interpolation (as it is available on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases the frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing frames in order to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is pretty well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it becomes available to PC users for free using a simple GUI and a couple of mouse clicks

Everything you need to get started is on the left side of the page(It's relatively easy to setup).

Enjoy.

Oh? I think it looks excellent even in terms of image quality it definitely looks overall much better. The downside is trying to play some disc's at higher frames causes some audio desyncing at times but anything digital I have not had any problems.

I use this if I'm watching a movie and having issues with choppy frame rate or dropped frames. It can make the video butter smooth (which I think is referred to as the soap opera effect).

Wow, this does an amazing job when used with a ROG Swift, just watched Star Trek (2009) at 144FPS.

Tried this in my htpc a while back, unfortunately the ati 6450 is lacking in grunt to really do a good job of it and just ran to hot.
When i get round to upgrading it i might try again, otherwise it looked great on my 144mhz monitor. (has to be the right sort of film mind)
