Hi there peeps,

quick question, I'm dealing with a clients old IT company who are adamant that Smoothwall is far superior to the firewall that comes wuth the Draytek 2830 routers and want to keep charging the customer to "rent" it to them and are scaring them with claims if we remove it it will compromose their security etc.

I thought i would get another view on it, i mena the newer drayteks are using object based rules etc to make life easier now, and I've never had any security issues so far with any of the routers i have sold.

penny for your thoughts? :)

its 15 computer 1 server standard small business enviroment, i mean i could get a sonicwall, but that might be overkill tbh and they dont really want to spend that much money, so im thinking the newer 2830's are a good mid ground :)
