SMP Quick Question

I have installed the smp ver on a pc running vista/32bit 2gb ram blah blah..
No problems with it installing. Just a quick question... the smp command window, has to be open? Can it be done in the background or sent to the tray?

Short answer: Nope.

Long answer: Yes - there is a way of making it run as a service. However, the last I heard it wasn't very reliable.

Did billy have a little programe the hid active windows... with just a little logo in the system tray (the process was still present in task manager I think)

He did. It's WinBoss and it works a treat.

I've just got WinSMP going on my pc, just the job there

I can hide the Vmware tab as well now

I accidentally closed the VM window :eek:

but it carried on folding - clicked the desktop icon & VM reopened everything normal

Yip just hide the VMWare windows by closing them.
