SMS messaging + Live Chat Software

Hi

im just beginning to look into 2 new solutions for my companies website.

we were looking for recommendations for a live chat software package which is simple and works reliably.

Also we are a service provider which provides customers e-accounts and makes payments on their behalf when they ask us too, and was hoping somehow they would be able to do this by SMS. Does anybody know if this is possible and again any recommendations would be great for software / services that will do this.

I use Comm100 for live chat. Absolutely brilliant and totally free. It's active on two of the three websites in my signature if you want to try it out from a customer's PoV.

Excellent thanks for that info. Looks promising and its free which if it does the job we want is a bonus.

now just to try and figure out the sms issue

Someone posted yesterday about using SMS and linked to http://www.cardboardfish.com/ they seem to do sms stuff - not sure if they can do what you ask though.
