Smudged the thermal paste

I accidentally poked the grey square on the bottom of my Freezer 64 Pro not knowing what it was (i was looking around the box for a tube of it lol) and accidentally smudged the thermal paste a bit. I can see a small glimpse of the copper through the paste near one of its corners now. It is very tiny but i wanted to know if the smudge with the copper showing through a bit will affect my cooling before i continue. Dont want the thing blowing up on me

yea i just attempted to put it in and it smudged a whole lot more lol. Am i right having the fan facing the top of the case? or is that the wrong direction. It doesnt have any rention clips on the mobo to have it face the back of the case

I did buy it brand new, so it did come with those instructions lol. But as i said, i couldnt get it to face the back of the case so was unsure which way to have it facing, blowing hot air on my gfx card, or blowing hot air on my ram.

lol i was talking about when it passes through the heatsink. Air does come out the other side, right?

so it will be fine with the headsink sitting close to the ram then?

worse off now after seeing the diagram on their site showing warm air coming out now finding out it doesnt lol

Edit: nevermind, got it sorted. Just trying to get it in straight atm
