Buying a SN25P at the end of the month (or sooner if I get paid then! :)).

I'm buying the Terratec DVB-T card and as well as watching on my monitor, there'll be occasions when I'd like to lay on the settee and watch a film on my TV rather than my monitor.

OcUK have a TV out card (FS-015-SH) but this fits in an AGP slot of the Shuttle and the SN25P doesn't have an AGP port!

Can anyone suggest an alternative solution on how to achieve what I want. I'm not after fantastic quality, it'll be perhaps 2 or 3 nights a week when I want to watch something I've recorded from the Terratec card and watch it on my TV, nowt fancy!

gib786 is right. just use the s-video out on your g-card. every pci-e card will have one on. and majority of htem if not all of them will come with a coverter so you can use composite if ya really wanted?

It's that easy huh! Well I honestly didn't know.

Graphics card is a 6800GT, so it definately has a s-video out. But can't seem to see a converter. The card came with an s-video to s-video lead but my TV only has the standard aerial in and a scart socket.

Are S-video to <insert what I need here> easy to come by?

S video to composite are pretty easy to come by, however as it's a competitor it's against the rules to be able to post it here

If you are still thinking about getting a TV tuner for your shuttle..
You be much better off getting a USB one..That way you still be able to fit daul slot graphic cards and graphic card coolers in your shuttle case..

Funny you should say that. Took some photos the other day on the installation of the Shuttle (posting soon) and purchased a USB TV Tuner (AverMedia) which has been absolutely brilliant.

Thanks.
