SN27P2 review

wasnt that complimentary though was it - in general I mean.

If you want a shuttle (and as they are relatively speedy in producing them for new chips / chipsets as article states) its better just to wait for conroe edition when it comes out

PS I have a 25P which I think is ideal - but nothing wonderful about this , admittedly mainly because of the cpu itself)

I'm pretty sure the reviewer is basing that advice on the fact that Conroe is going to be a faster processor when it comes out, they have been giving out the same advice with many of the AM2 boards they have reviewed.

I totally agree with you - all I was saying is there seems little incentive to go AM2 currently esp with high prices of shuttles

I've been looking at upgrading for a while, I have a Soltek SFF just now, Socket 478 and AGP. I had thouhgt a new SFF was ruled out as too many of the new ones seemed to be coming out without a PCI slot which I consider essential.
I like the look of the SN27P2, a nice looking SFF PC with PCI Express and a PCI slot for my X-Fi soundcard. Hopefully any new shuttle supporting conroe will retain the PCI slot.
