System comprises:

Shuttle SN27P2
AMD Athlon 64x2 4200+
2x512mb Corsair Value Select Kit
Conect3d Radeon X1800

It won't boot at all. Fans and drives spin up, but other than that not a sausage.

Green light comes on the motherboard, red lightscome on and go off on the graphics card. I've tried changing the memory around. There are no beeps.

Any suggestions as to what i'm doing wrong?

Don't know anyone with a DDR2 system, got all the stuff from OcUK this morning.

My gut feeling is that it's memory, but as you say with nothing coming up on the monitor it's pretty hard to troubleshoot.

Are there any known issues with shuttles and memory? I know some boards don't like some brands.

Do shuttles not have an internal speaker? Beep codes are so handy!

It's Corsair 1GB DDR2 Value Select PC5300 by the way.

retailer was OcUK.

I'll send the support form off to Shuttle tonight, might ring OcUK again as well.

It does say on the website that rev3 supports DC, i'll have a look at what i've got.

I'm arranging an RMA.

I don't know anyone else with a dual core AMD system and i'm not going out of pocket to test it.

there is nothing that looks important that isn't plugged in.

Either shuttles are slightly weird inside re power connections or the atx standard has chaged.

I've RMA'd it back now. They suggested leaving the graphics processor and memory in so just in case.

Who gets the bad news regarding postage in these circumstances? It cost £18.50 to send SD.
