looking at getting some new speakers! does anyone know if the SN41G2 is 5.1?

Uses the soundstorm chipset so it should do 5.1

thanks mate i just purchaed 5.1 sound system and wondered if it should all be plug and play?

should be, just plug it in (optical or analogue) then set it up in the control panel (NV mixer i think it is now, alas goodbye soundstorm

)
