SN45G-V3 GFX Upgrade?

My secondary rig which is an sn45g-v3 currently has a 9700pro installed. the primary use of this box is as a htpc.. or its suposed to be really it just sits there on the network and i grab a movie or whatever from the hdd when needed. So I guess it's really just a nas these days.

But I do use it as a backup box fairly often and game on it. anoying thing is the 9700 fan, it's rather loud. What would be the best gfx card I can get which is quiet in 2D and wont have a problem fitting or working with the 250w psu?

3200+
2x512mb ocz el rev2 (2-2-2-5)
2xHDDs (sata)
DVDrw
tv card

I supose I would pay about £100 max as it is just for backup and im in no rush so if anything interesting is coming out for agp i'll consider it.

I have looked at the x1950pro 256mb/512mb 7600gt/gs x1650pro/xt etc but i would rather hear from someone who has them installed regarding noise issues etc I also hear that some of the newer cards that have been ported over to AGP have compatability issues.

I think I would go with an AGP Sapphire x1950pro 512mb if everything is working fine with them and the sn45g-v3 and they are silent or pretty quiet in 2D. (games Im not really bothered about)

The games I play btw are ut2003/2004, dawn of war, CS:S and soon ut3.

actually in the case of the sn45g no, it can only hold a single slot cooler thats why i have been eyeing up the saphire model. most other agp veriants of the x1950 i can find have a duel slot cooler. the shuttle g, g2, g4, g5, g6 series etc all have 2 expansion slots but the gfx slot is always located on the outer one closest to the side of the case.

the sapphire x1950 512mb also has 2x molex connectors and i am unsure about its power draw. on the sud.hian forums i think i remember users haveing issues installing them and getting them to work but that was a good while ago. and there may have sinse been workarounds or driver updates i'm guessing. I just dont want to buy a fairly expensive agp gfx card i have no other use for if it doesnt work in my shuttle.

a x800/6800 seriese is also a consideration as i know they work pretty well. ut3 wont really play well on them but i think i could live with that, but don't really want to pay more than £40 for a second hand one.

btw any P or P2 case can hold duel slot coolers i have an sn25p i have just got a 3870 for
