I am thinking of building the following system, using a Shuttle XPC SN68PTG5 available from OCUK. I will be using the following parts....

1.) AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz, 1MB Cache
2.) Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C6 1066MHz
3.) Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64-Bit
4.) 1TB Seagate Barracuda

Think there would be any major problems with it ? Any conflicts or trouble with installing Vista or getting 64bit drivers etc ? I already have the Processor and HD, so there I am limited in case choice ( and really want to stick with shuttle)

Any help would be appreciated as my old PC is on it's way out...

I thought the memory would be overkill. Unless it not much extra than PC6400 modules.

I remember reading on ******* forums that the SN68 range (can't remember if G2, G5, G6) had issues with supporting memory at speed 800MHz. So worth reading around first.

I have slower ram modules already anyway, so as you suggested, I may leave the ram until a later date & just try building the system with the slower stuff to see how she goes.

Cheers for the Info.
