Snap windows to quarters of the screen in Windows 8

Is there any way to make the windows automatically snap to quarters the way you can in some linux DEs?

I've googled and it seems that: http://www.winsplit-revolution.com/ was a solution for windows 7 but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it or anything else in windows 8?

dell has software to do this it came with my 21:9 monitor. works on windows 8 never used it though

ive been using allsnap for years now Not updated for ages though but works with 8.1 (need both x86 / x64 running, and set folder security permissions to allow full access for users (if in Program Files)

I have it set to snap at vertical quarters
