Snapped bottent release catch :-(

So Iv just snapped the bonnet release on my Civic EP2. Do I need to replace the entire mechanism including the cable or can I just get the actual catch?

Its just the actual release lever I need. Thanks

depends where it is snapped. is it the lever itself that is snapped? if so does the cable disconnect from the lever? If the cable disconnects at the lever then you'd only need the lever obviously.

if the cable doesn't detatch then you'll need to get a whole new one.

HONDA Bonnet Release. A common part to fail on the Civic EP is the release handle. Unfortunately they are only sold complete with the cable.

Or just do a simple diy fix....(there many different ways people have done it by posted on youtube)

crap design by honda they all do it. I just wrapped a cable tie round mine and used that.

Printed out a replacement on the 3d printer. Turned out pretty good. Thanks for the help
