Hey folks I was wondering if any of you could offer some advice on what to do with my pc.

The situation is this, I'm about to move to a new house (cottage) and space is at a premium.

My current system setup is as follows:

I7 D0 920 @ 4ghz
Gelid Tranquillo cpu cooler
Asus P6T Deluxe mobo
12gb patriot viper 12800 DDR3
MSI 460 GTX 768mb
Asus xonar d2
M4 Crucial 128gb
Samsung spinpoint HD103SJ 1TB HDD
XFX 650w Core edition (Non modular)
NZXT Zero Case

Now with there being minimal space for my pc in our new home I'd like to try and downsize a bit on the tower. I don't really use the pc for gaming much but even then I only game at 1680 x 1050. I really fancy going SFF but I genuinely have no idea where to start or whether I should salvage some bits etc of scrap the lot and start over.

Money is at a premium at this point (apparently a stupidly expensive fridge is priority :() but if it's say around £300 and hides the system a bit better I'm sure I can sell it on the grounds of neatness for the house!

So guys any ideas as to what would be viable options? I don't really want to downgrade at all and the pc must be as quiet as possible!

I also have a spare 120GB OCZ ssd sat here on my desk doing sweet fa to add into the mix

first you have a choice of if you short on cash to keep your sound card, and if you do you will have to go mate if you don't you can go to itx.

I don't know of any 1366 socket itx mbs and only a few matx mbs so you might have to sell this mb and get a new one

The gtx 460 can be kept if your short on cash but you Probably should update that at the next refresh of cards to get thmost out of the new cpu

loosing the soundcard isn't an issue tbh although having an optical audio output on the mobo (if poss) would be beneficial

At the moment people are raving about the bitfinix prodigy itx cube case for 65 pounds is that the size you where thinking about?

If you want that case the cheapest option would be to get a second hand matx board with the case sell the old case old motherboard and if your not using the second half ssd should brake even nearly.

If you want to spend that 300 you could sell the mb cpu and gpu and upgrade to a ati 7850 for with a 3750k and mb for that cash if you sell the rest

Go for the TJ08B case finding a 2nd hand motherboard and then selling the the old case and motherboard now that iv looked it up should cost around £100, if you sell your ssd your not using it will come round to about £50

Hope this helps you
