Hey guys,

Had a query from a friend who's got himself addicted to emulated Snes games on his laptop. Can you buy a pc gamepad (cheapo one preferably) and use it with a snes emulator on the pc?

thanks

Get a 360 pad, effectively it has the same button layout as a snes (4 buttons and two shoulder buttons).

do NOT use a 360 pad.

I own a 360 pad, and IU love it to bits, but it's horrendous for zSnes.. the dpad is awful :/

As above, your best bet for snes games is an old playstation pad with a cheap converter.

Yeah the 360 pad is gash for the old 16-bit consoles. Great for the N64 though. ;)

I have a Wii classic controller hooked up through some sneaky bluetooth fiddling. It's well ace.

How well is it for N64? :O

I could not get used to Z trigger!

Perhaps?
