Couldn't find a thread on this so thought I'd start one.

So who managed to get a pre-order?

I checked everywhere the evening of the day it was announced and nothing was available, seems like everything went live the day after and Amazon and Game sold out in minutes, so annoyed I missed it.

I just managed to reserve one on Very, not used them before and think they might just be taking the money to hold it and then say no stock later but it's my only option unless the usual places get some more allocation.

If you're not looking to scalp there will be plenty of folks on here who will take an extra one off your hands for a reasonable amount.
 
Not seen anything from Tesco yet, they don't even have a page on the site yet so if you've missed out they might be a good one to keep an eye on.

The NES was a day one pre-order for me, had no idea things would go so nuts or would end up being a limited run so am very pleased I did.

SNES is also an essential purchase for me.

I think we'll probably see both come back again in future, is a license to print money, like what Disney used to do with their films and only releasing them for a limited time.
 
Argos are cancelling a number of pre-orders it seems, no emails gone out but log in to your account and you see the amount but no product info.

Could be they've pulled the product page and it also hides it here but doesn't look good.

According to folks on Nintendo Life comments some are still seeing the full order details so it looks like mine has been cancelled.

I only ordered one, didn't even think of trying to get multiples.
 
I had a call from Argos this morning asking if I still want my pre-order as they had an issue with their systems hence why mine had disappeared.

Going to call back now and see if I can ensure I have a reservation.

Nope, it has gone but they have put me on a priority waiting list so should be able to secure one before it goes on general availability.

I agree but that's probably because I grew up with it, is funny to hear so many US folks say how much they love the look of their one, I even read people saying the colour scheme on the US is better, crazy talk!
 
I saw it on stockinformer.co.uk, have now registered with them for email alerts.

Oh and I only ordered 1 console, I guess it went out of stock while I was completing the checkout process.
