snes prices

Is it just me or have these increased in value dramatically over the past few years? My gf has one that has been in the attic for ages. Im sure I looked at selling it when we moved in together and it was barely worth the advertising fee. Checked on ebay today and they now appear to go for a very reasonable amount

Certainly considerably more than my 10 year newer gamecube bundle would fetch :confused:

There was a chap selling one on that popular action site, brand spanking new and never used for £250. I wasnt sure what to think of the price, tbh I still think its abit optimistic.

If it's boxed then it'll double it's value

I'm a sucker for retro stuff, so have a couple of nicely boxed snes's (among other consoles

Damaged boxes count a lot against consoles dont they? Bloody gf wont be ripping any boxes of mine open again...

Yup, a neat box will sell for lots more IME. Same for games, which also need the booklets etc

A nice boxed copy of zelda on the snes, with instructions, map and secrets book have been known to go for £40+. Same game with medicore box will go for £10. Go figure.
