Hi all,

Does anyone know of a SNES controller which is compatible with the pc? I think it may have to be a converter of some kind - Any ideas people?

Cheers

They usually feel much worse than the proper pads.

Get a super joy converter or lookup the snes pad > parallel port conversion that's online somewhere :)

The 360 pad is decent enough for analogue use but yeah..the dpad is awful. Makes SNES gaming somewhat annoying :)

I'd go for a ps2 pad > usb converter. The dpads on those are decent and it's got enough buttons to play like a snes pad whilst also having bits left over for emu controls.

use an xb360 pad, they are much more comfortable, unless you are seriously looking for authenticity?

*** do the job if it didnt have a d pad that feels like it belongs in the stone age :(

the convertors to turn snes - parallel part are a bit dodgy too as allot of people dont have parallel ports these days :(

the ones mentioned in the first reply are best bet , probably about a quid or two on ebay :p

That's utterly untrue /re the PS1....

its not untrue. look it up, sony wanted the rights to the media so nintendo blind sided them and went to phillips (iirc). Sony in a wave of japanese honor went out and made a full console from the research they had been doing. It was even originally callled the playstation.
