The authorities have down very hard on the Chinese players charged with match fixing. Liang Wenbo and Li Hang have been given lifetime bans and Zhao Xintong, the youngster who won the UK has been given a 20 month ban. No messing around in snooker it seems, unless your Scottish.

Shocking, never thought there would be lifetime bans. I used to like watching Liang play (unless he was beating Judd).

Bingtao gone for 5 years is a big one too. He is so talented at the game and a masters champion too.

Im convinced the final of this tournament was one Zhao and Yan sorted out. How likely is a 9-0 win between two players of their quality?
