Hello chaps,

I'm off to Mexico on my honeymoon in a couple of months and want to do lots of snorkelling, does anyone have a recommendation as to a good place to buy some equipment?

Thanks all.

Go to a local dive shop and try on a few masks and see which fits you properly. A decent fitting mask will make a big difference.

Worth getting some dive socks or boots if you are going to be in the water a lot. Long time ago now, but I found the strap holding the fins on really chafed at the back of the foot so got some extra padding for the next time round.

I went to a specialist shop near Charing Cross station as I was working in Central London at the time and it was pre amazon's dominance of retail: https://oceanleisure.co.uk/location/

i'd grab some antifog spray whatever mask you go for
I found toothpaste the best for this does a double job cleans the mask up nicely and acts as a great anti-fog. We've been on a few trips and used hotel snorkelling gear (really hit and miss depends entirely on the hotel!) and every single set has benefited massively from a quick toothpaste shine.

Take a tiny bottle of baby shampoo with you, drop of that in the mask, smear it around with your finger and then rinse it out.
Bit better than spit, though spit is pretty good.

I've always used cressi snorkel, masks and flippers, never let me down and I've just got a new set for my holiday in 6 weeks.
