I have a MBP which I bought about 4-5 months ago. Is Snow Leopard stable to install on it now? I know there were a few teething problems. Is it worth doing? Will I notice any performance benefits for example?

Finally, is it still £25 to buy? If so, do I just order online or can I buy it in any Apple Store or reseller?

TIA.

1) Has always been stable for me. As stable as any other OS release, anyway.

2) Depends on the software you use. It is much quicker where 64 bit apps and multi-core machines are concerned.

3) Yes. You can buy it in either.

In my opinion, yes it's stable, yes it's worth installing and you may notice a slight overall performance increase which will only get better as they sort out the OpenGL which is a bit pants right now.

Yes, it's still £25, can't see that changing and you can buy online or in a store/reseller.
