Good lord.

BBC.co.uk

"Over the first two months of the mission, the humidity of the atmosphere was increasing as water [ice] sublimated from the ground and the polar ice cap; and over the second half of the mission we've started to see frost, ground fog and clouds. And this is now occurring every night," explained Dr Whiteway.

I am so moving there, looks so spacious.

One of the comments on that...

Nasa is nothing but a government front. we've known about water there ever since we went to mars and im talking about man. They've been and discovered life already.. You'll c mark my words Nasa is releasing info slowly to desensitize us, next theres gonna be a lake found there then they'll say some micro organisms live there then humanoids when we wont care bc by then we already will know that there is just like we knew there was water and were just waiting for them to release the info to us

:D

The ability of Phoenix to gather sunlight is also expected to be severely compromised by the settling of carbon dioxide frost on its solar panels.

On current projections, the robot will probably go silent at the end of November or in early December.

Sounds so sad - reminds me of Wall-E :(

Can't wait for all the property shows on channel 4 where people are thinking about moving from Southend in Essex to Mars for a better lifestyle.

Awesome news, really fascinating. If snow lands on Mars, then there is potential for water, and life forms :)

Quick question - How big is Phoenix?

I was looking forward to Wall-E and now I know it has a sad ending. It's really ruined my day and you guys just make fun :(
